sharapova drive through the ball more than serena , as serena has the tendency to pull up on her shots more. sharapova actually stays with the shot more making it harder.

yeah but for you to say clearly Maria is the bigger hitter that’s where I disagree. Maria hits hard consistently but don’t get it confused… when Serena actually decides she wants to go big, few can match her at her hardest, not even Sharapova. Sharapova hits hard but at their hardest she couldn’t dream of hitting bigger ball than Serena… let’s get that straight.

what the hell are you talking about. At thier hardest Serena hits the ball harder thab Maria. Serena doesn’t have to consistently hit hard because she can play defense unlike Maria who feels she needs to bash everything. I wish they still had the whole match up here so you can see who the bigger hitter is and hear what the espn commentators had to say. I watched this match from beginning to end. Maria hitting harder than Serena… don’t think so.

she does have that amazing forehand cross court dipping shot on the run. i just rarely see her make the same on her backhand side. i can kind of relate actually….

One of my favorite past times is watching Maria when i think she’s going to lose. I think it’s got me to know her game pretty well actually. lol
