I think when a player play super tennis against a Williams sister the press and all the hyped gets into their head. The pressure comes and they are never the same. Really the players need to stop measuring the careers over a game that they played over a Williams sister, play everyone hard like they play Venus and Serena, and stop letting the media over-hyped a good game you played against them because they start thinking they are the new IT now, and their level of play suffers because of it.

Faith? Faith? I don’t been “faith” or “hope” or luck rabbit’s feet to see Serena and Venus on top of the tennis world again.
They have STAYED dominant since the day they came in. And none of your inferior hopefuls have been able to change that. So get over it. Nicole’s been frustrated by her own lack of talent and the fact she was dumb enough to take on the best.
When Serena loses it’s a BIG deal –because it almost never happens.
When Nicole loses NOBODY is surprised. Now ask yourself why.

hahaha your a joke you admitted your a bandwagoner, and Serena is anything but humble! Nicole has been frustratingly denied by a questionable temperament and a poorly timed injury, but she is still very young, I have every faith she can make the top 20 again.

17 years, she playes well, she is 20 now and she plays shit.
Serena isnt a taticle player, that would be Hingis, Radwanska, Cornet.
Serena punishes her players by power, her and Venus are the hardest hitters on the WTA, Navratilova said they are the best and have changed the game forever.
If there wernt black, they wouldnt be as good, as fast, as powerful.
The Williams sister are the best and always will be.

I hope Vaidisova can get back to Top 10 as well. She’s only about 20. Over ’07 she was at the stage of getting into Grand Slam semifinals. She never made that breakthrough and now how momentum has stalled a bit. I hope she can get back though. She’s still young and could still be a huge force if she can get it together.

I’m a Williams fan.
Because she WINS. I don’t back any player who doesn’t produce. Maybe Vaidisova will be a talent one day, and if you enjoy watching her “develop” that’s fine.
But I want to see the horse I root for win.
Serena has ALL the tools of a pure champion: she’s smart, aggressive, humble and has power.
Eveyone whines because their favorite player doesn’t have any of those things.
I hate to say it but if Serena was blonde and blue eyed she’d have NO critics at all.
Simple as that.

she has been in the top 10, the highest i recall she has been is 7th, but due to illness she has dropped quit a bit, she does have potential though. I am sorry if it came across as hype, as you can tell i am a vaidisova fan and i do believe that hopefully one day she can be in the top 10.

umm sorry but what? yes she was 17 and no she didn’t play poorly, she played very well in this match. Serena even said this herself after the match. While nicole did struggle last year she has now gone from 81st to around 53rd.
